Pinellas Park Campus

The Pinellas Park location consists of 5,598 square feet at 8200 66th Street North – Pinellas Park, Florida. Convenient public transportation and ample parking are available. Many local businesses and restaurants are within walking distance.

The following accommodations are available within our square footage:

• Reception area
• Student lounge area with vending machines
• Four Classroom/Skills Lab, seating 12-24 students
• Library/Resource Learning Center
• Administrative Offices
• An On-site State of Florida CNA Regional Testing Center

Each classroom/skills lab is equipped with audiovisual equipment, skills laboratory equipment and supplies to enhance student learning. We have a classroom prepared for MOS training classes which contains computer stations for 15 students

Our Library/Learning Resource Center contains desktop computers with high speed internet access and a resource library of texts and periodicals for research.

During the hours of 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., students also have access to the computer lab located within the CNA Test Prep Center at the Pinellas Park Campus. Students have access to the laser printer within the computer lab to print research, employment resources, and school documents as needed.

Classroom instruction consists of lecture, group discussion, audiovisual aids, Internet research, demonstration of required skills and practice in both simulated and actual clinical settings. Off-site class clinical experiences are provided at local area assisted living facilities, long term care facilities, physician’s offices, hospitals and others per specific program requirements.

Hybrid courses are also available for didactic components in all programs. Academy of Mine is utilized for the delivery of hybrid courses and uses asynchronous method of delivery.
